Accounting Department

The department manages the Bank's accounting system and is responsible for keeping the accounts and mandatory ledgers. It issues instructions on the structuring and execution of accounting entries by the various organizational units and carries out the related controls. It assists the Accountant General in liaising with the Bank’s Control bodies. The department prepares the annual accounts and accompanying documents, as well as the periodic reports to the Ministry for the Economy and Finance and those required by the ESCB. It prepares the accounting data for statistical reporting to national and international entities and organizations.
